As a resident of the City of Oak Hill, I recently completed my term as a Commissioner on the Planning Commission for the City of Oak Hill.

My past experience in marketing, interiors, and vintage furniture and accessory sales eventually brought me to real estate. I am often disheartened when a wonderful mid-century home is torn down rather than sold to someone who would appreciate its history and be a good steward of the architecture.

I am slowly renovating a Henry Dole Norris designed 70’s modern home, and I have a weak spot for A-frames, as they too are often torn down for their land with little regard for the structure. I love an underdog.

I have lived in postwar apartment buildings, a Queen Anne Victorian, a 1912 four square etc. and loved them all, but I always wanted a modern home! When you find what fits you, I believe we are truly more in sync with ourselves-not just in our shelter choice.

Everyone loves something different and discovering that which is unique to each Buyer is incredibly rewarding. Selling can be an emotional endeavor, and marketing your home to find the best new owner/s to carry it into the next generation is part of finding the right fit.
