Fall Updates + Holidays

With inventory still very tight, and interest rates historically low, we are continuing a strong Seller’s market here in Nashville. As you can see below, the demand is also driving up prices.

In other news, I have had the great honor of being voted onto the Board of Directors for Greater Nashville REALTORS®️, and am ready to learn and grow with some amazingly accomplished colleagues. Thanks to all who took the time to vote and participate!

What does your holiday season look like? Our Thanksgiving will be just our nuclear unit and we hope we can see extended family at Christmas, but it’s hard to say right now.

We are still cooking our way through the pandemic, and the cooler weather has had me digging into making pastas I’ve never made before. I think I want to make a squid ink cavatelli next – we’ll see!

It all starts with flour and egg
Fileja
Spicy fileja with sopressata and nduja sauce.
Beet fettucine and anolini with goat cheese and walnut filling

I got started down a rabbit hole thanks to this video when I was researching fileja. It’s not in English and it didn’t matter…I was mesmerized and could watch people hand roll pasta all day. If this sounds like your idea of nerdy fun…here is another one from the master pasta maker at Eataly Flatiron…so good..and they make it all look so effortless. Don’t even get me started on the Pasta Grannies.

Whatever you decide to do for Thanksgiving, I hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Until next time,

Collyn
